Working with Jason Maxwell was a very, very positive experience! He was prompt and efficient when we were dealing with the business-side of things and when it came time to perform, he had hired session musicians to back him! Unfortunately just as Jason and his band were to hit the stage, a torrential rain storm hit our event, combined with tornado warnings which delayed guests in arriving! Jason was extremely flexible and he and his band waited out the weather and then hit us with an extremely high-energy show anchored with terrific-sounding country music!” Jason Maxwell was a class-act to deal with and we are very glad we booked him for the 2017 Milverton Rodeo Dance.
-Helen Dowd, Milverton Rodeo Dance Coordinator
Jason Maxwell and his band brought the warmth and comfort that only live music can bring during a particularly cold and frosty Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival this year. Talented, friendly, and down-to-earth, Jason Maxwell is just the kind of musician you want at your event!
-Julia Kole, Program Assistant
Jason's strong vocals complemented by the high-energy & engaging band makes for one entertaining show - this was re-emphasized by the Casino Rama staff on-site as well as the customer-entertainment reviews conducted by the Casino Rama employees during the performances.
-Cindy Sutch, Talent Buyer (Catherine Faint Entertainment)
Jason and his great band rocked Tillsonburg’s Turtlefest this past June. The energy, musicianship and especially the songs themselves were greatly appreciated. A fun-loving band with well-crafted original songs. They would be welcome back here anytime.
-David Wells, Events Coordinator
The Canada 150 Summer Music Series hosted by Northumberland 89.7 FM was a celebration of Canada's history and celebrating musical talent. This year we enjoyed having a stellar lineup perform at the Victoria Park bandshell in Cobourg. One of the standout performers was Jason Maxwell who brought his smooth voice and musical talent to entertain the crowd on Aug 9th. It was truly an excellent evening of music under the summer sky and everyone enjoyed his performance. We look forward to inviting Jason back for a second performance in 2018!
-Barry Johnson, Events Manager
Your performance was amazing!! Your band drew the biggest crowd at The Canadian Tulip Festival! Everyone loved it!! We would love to have you perform again next year.
-Mary Fayad, Program Coordinator
We recently booked Jason for the Muskoka Maple Festival, which turned out to be a fantastic decision! Jason entertained Festival attendees and was able to create a great atmosphere throughout his performance. We would highly recommend Jason for any occasion.
-Torrin Suddaby, Tourism Marketing Manager
It was a fantastic performance! Jason and his band came prepared with everything, they were set up and ready to perform on time and put on an amazing show!

Jason Maxwell is a country singer-songwriter and recording artist from Thornhill, Ontario. His passion for singing was apparent at a very young age, singing around the house for family and friends. Jason picked up a guitar at 12 years old and his musical aspirations have since flourished into a career as a full-time artist.
One of Ontario’s most sought-after performers, Jason’s inaugural 2017 touring schedule featured +50 performances at various Festivals, Fairs & Concert Series including notable venues & events such as: The Canadian Tulip Festival, The KEE to Bala, Milverton & Norfolk RAM Rodeo, Canada’s Largest Ribfest (Burlington), Niagara Grape & Wine Festival, & Casino Rama.
Early on in his career, Jason has already shared the stage with:
• Chad Brownlee – MDM Recordings/Universal Music Canada
• The Reklaws – Starseed Entertainment/Universal Music Canada
Jason will be sharing the stage with the following artists before 2017 is done:
• The Washboard Union – Slaight/Warner Music Canada
• J.J. Shiplett – Entertainment One/Warner Music Canada
In 2017, Jason released 2 singles to radio – “Constellation Conversation” & “Ain’t No Place I’d Rather Be”. Both tracks were added to rotation at over 40 radio stations across Canada with “Constellation Conversation” peaking at #161 on the iTunes Top 200 Country Songs Chart.
Jason’s following continues to grow on social media, particularly on Instagram as he has amassed over 12,000 followers in just 1 year of touring. His ever-growing fan base is a true testament to how Jason connects & interacts with his fans – in response, they have provided an immense level of unwavering support throughout his young career.
Jason’s musical influences set him apart from others in the industry, as they aren’t exactly what you would expect from a traditional country singer. Jason’s style provides a fresh perspective on country music by blending classic rock vibes and even some hints of pop/hip-hop with traditional country instrumentation. Some of his musical influences include: Zac Brown Band, Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, John Mayer and many more.
Jason is a proud supporter of the Carley’s Angels foundation, a charity named after vocalist/musician Carley Elle Allison. The foundation is dedicated to helping sick children and their families manage costly healthcare issues. Jason headlined the 2017 Concert 4 Carley’s Angels & he is already committed to performing at the 2018 event.
In an industry that seemingly has no shortage of talented artists, it is sometimes hard to stand out from the crowd - this is one problem that Jason certainly does not have. His relentless drive for his career, unmatched dedication to his music, and endless devotion to his fans has put him in the position to become one of the top up-and-coming Canadian Country Music artists on the scene.
